Evelyn Debolt Wildman

Evelyn Debolt Wildman, 92, of Holbrook, died at 2:23 p.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in the Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.

She was born Sunday, July 21, 1929 in Springdale. A daughter of the late Downey R. Debolt, Sr. and Gertrude J. Haggerty Debolt.

Mrs. Wildman attended the former Bethany United Methodist Church at Nettle Hill. She was a member of the Rebekka Lodge and the D.A.R.

Evelyn loved reading and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. She worked for 35 years as a Medical Secretary at the Greene County Memorial Hospital in Waynesburg.

Her husband James O. Wildman, whom she married on March 02, 1947, died January 28, 1992.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Martha Hoy of Spraggs, and Nancy (David) Martin of Holbrook; 1 son, David James (Patty) Wildman of Bethel Park; 5 Grandchildren: Melissa Whetzel, Tad G. (Shera) Hoy, Amy (Adam) Weinstock, Kristen Martin, Brian Wildman; 3 Great Grandchildren: Morgan Whetzel, Madison Whetzel, Shea Lynn Hoy; and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased are 1 son-in-law, Ted L. Hoy; 1 grandson, Michael Wildman; 1 grandson-in-law, Bobby Whetzel; 2 sisters: Ruth E. Kaper and Patricia L. Murphy; and 1 Brother, Downey Debolt.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021, in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,197 N. Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021, with Pastor Paul Salosky officiating.

Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, Nettle Hill, PA.
