Roberta Nicolella
Roberta “Bobbie Jeanne” Nicolella, 73, of Silver Spring, Md., formerly of Washington, died Monday, October 18, 2021, in Fairfax Hospital, Virginia.
She was born on December 25, 1947, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert Joseph Nicolella, Sr., and Virginia Ruth Chicone Stathas.
Bobbie Jeanne was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School.
Ms. Nicolella worked for 30 years as a medical record keeping instructor at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
A talented amateur painter, she was an excellent soprano, published poet, and a very well-rounded traveler.
Surviving are three brothers, William “Bill” Nicolella, Anthony G. “Tony” Nicolella, and Robert J. Nicolella, Jr., all of Washington; two sisters, Mary Jo (Tony) Verardi, of O’Hara Township, and Barbara R. Nicolella, of McMurray; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 until 3:30 p.m., the time of a eulogy, Thursday, October 28, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
