Judith Anne Volosky Risher

Judith Anne Volosky Risher, 81, of Peters Twp., formerly of Bridgeville, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 24, 2021.

Judy was proceeded in death by her parents, Louis and Anne Kozlowski Volosky, and her husband John W. Risher, Sr.

She was the loving mother of John W. Risher, Jr., Jeffrey Risher, Joseph (Darlene) Risher and Jennifer (Muir) Anderson.

She was a devoted grandmother to Justin, Zachary and Amanda Risher, Muir Anderson IV, Jessica(Justin) Gosnell, and Ashley (Nino) Pettinato.

Her most recent joy in life was becoming a great-grandmother to Julianna Pettinato, and Harper Gosnell.

She also leaves behind her brothers Paul (late Winifred) Volosky, andDavid (Janet) Volosky; and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was a longtime and active member of St. Benedict the Abbot Church, where she started the chapter of Ladies of Charity. She served as a Eucharistic Minister, wedding coordinator, and was involved in many other organizations.

She was a member of the South Hills Women’s Club. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, and baking, especially pies. She was also an avid Steelers fan.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville 412-221-3333.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 30, at St. Benedict the Abbot Church of St. John the XXIII Parish.

Memorials may be made to Ladies of Charity, St. John XXIII Parish.
