Thomas S. Cross Jr.
Thomas S. Cross, Jr., 75 of Washington, died Friday, October 22, 2021 in his home.
He was born February 26, 1946 in San Rafeal, California. Son of the late Thomas S., Sr. and Mary Hansel Cross.
He was a member of Washington VFW Post 927. Thomas enjoyed classic muscle cars, his motorcycle and gardening.
He served in the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller during the Vietnam war. He came home and worked as a coal miner for Consol Coal and then worked 25 years in information systems for Achieva, Pittsburgh, before retiring in 2014.
Surviving are brother, Jay (Del) Cross of San Antonio, Tex., sister, Nancy (Jerry) Dotts of Glen Hope, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Vicki, and brother, Donald Cross.
Interment was private at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, and entrusted to Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321.
