Genevieve M. Kulak
Genevieve M. “Jennie” Kulak, 93, of McDonald, died Monday, August 30, 2021, in Victoria Manor, Oakdale.
She was born January 29, 1928, in Sturgeon, a daughter of John and Catherina Ferneza Slovick.
Mrs. Kulak was a machine operator for the former Stylette Plastics in Oakdale until the business closed.
She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Noblestown, now St. Isidore the Farmer Parish.
Mrs. Kulak loved playing cards. She was an avid fan of Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Penguins.
On September 5, 1949, she married Frank “Franner” Kulak, who died July 3, 2016.
Surviving are a son, Gary (Marie Lowry) Kulak of Southville, Mich.; a daughter, Kathy (Paul) Demnyan of Primrose; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Frank Slovick and Anthony (Adeline of Sturgeon) Slovick; and three sisters, Ann Slovick, Alice Voye and Margaret Kraftician.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 2, in Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, September 3, in the St. Patrick worship site in Noblestown of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.
