Timothy M. Martys
Timothy M. Martys, 60, of Washington, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, in Washington Hospital. He was born September 20, 1960, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Joseph G. and Margaret S. Hulpa Martys.
Tim was raised in Canonsburg and was a graduate of Chartiers Houston High School. He had been a member of the former St. Genevieve Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg and had been employed at A.R.C. in Meadowlands.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his brother, Thomas (Judy) Martys of Robinson Township; niece Bethany Martys (John Ward); nephew Christopher (Susana) Martys; aunts and several cousins.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 6, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner / supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where departing prayers will be recited at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, September 7.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church of St. Oscar Romero Parish, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg.
Internment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
