Cynthia Elizabeth Bush, 57, of Houston, died peacefully Friday, September 3, 2021, in the Washington Hospital, with her family at her side.

She was born August 20, 1964, in Washington, a daughter of Barbara Miller Bush of Houston and the late Everett Duane Bush.

Ms. Bush was a 1982 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.

Cynthia had been employed in various customer service positions in the area until her health prevented her from working.

She loved spending time with her family, babysitting for many of her relatives, and helping friends.

Cindy enjoyed playing cards and watching television shows about animals.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a son, Jeremy Everett Bush-Betarie (Ronald) of New Port Richey, Fla.; three brothers, Rodney Bush (Von Andre) of Washington, Laymon Bush (Chanler) of Charleroi and Leymone Bush of Washington; two sisters, Kimberly Bush (Darrell Thomas) and Evelyn Bush, both of Houston; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from noon until the 3 p.m. time of service Wednesday, September 8, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.
