Richard J. Hudock, 80, of Carmichaels, passed away at 9:55 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021, in Evergreen Assisted Living, Waynesburg. He was born March 12, 1941, in Luzerne Township, Fayette County, a son of the late Joseph P. and Anna L. Almasi Hudock.

Mr. Hudock was a 1960 graduate of Cumberland Township High School and worked at the Gruman Boat Factory in Carmichaels before working in Cleveland, Ohio. He retired after working 20 years in maintenance for the Carmichaels Area School District. Mr. Hudock enjoyed farming and raising cattle.

Surviving are a sister, Monica A. Maholtz (Charles) of Poland, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Rose Ann Maholtz, Colleen M. Maholtz (Jerry Shimp) and Angela M. Zedaker (Rob); two great-nephews, Robin and Alex Zedaker; two aunts, Theresa McGarvey and Helen Nypaver; numerous cousins; and special friends, Cathy and Brian Price, and Sandi Casper.

Deceased is an infant brother, David Paul Hudock.

Arrangements are private, and under the care of the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels.
