Patricia J. Durish

Patricia J. Durish, 63, of Houston, died Monday, September 20, 2021, in her home, of natural causes.

She was born March 22, 1958, in Washington, a daughter of Peter J. and Elizabeth “Libby” Lutes Durish.

Ms. Durish was a 1976 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.

She had worked for Manager Care of America in Pittsburgh.

Ms. Durish was a member St. Patrick Church of St. Oscar Romero Parish, where she was a longtime choir member.

She enjoyed yearly family vacations to the beach, following her nieces and nephews activities and bowling. She was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan; she went to many games and player signings.

Surviving are two sisters, Darlene Congie (William) of Houston and Carol Gump (Alex Jr.) of Chartiers Township; six nephews, Tim, Todd and Troy (Stacey) Gump, and Bill, Robb (Debbie) and Joe Congie; and two nieces, Joelle Falcone (Sam) and Jayme Onda (Nathan); and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two sisters, Marlene “Molly” Easingwood and Joyce Zareck; and a brother, Peter Durish.

Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m., the time of a blessing service, Friday, September 24, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342. Interment is private.
