William Herriott
William “Bill” Herriott, 75, of Canonsburg, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021.
He was born October 28, 1945, a son of the late Lawrence and Helen Hawkins Herriott. He was Catholic.
Prior to his retirement, he worked large assembly at the former PA transformer.
He was a member of the Polish National Union, and the White Eagles, in Canonsburg.
William enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
On July 27, 1968, he married the love of his life, Georgene Lazzara Herriott, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his daughter, Lisa (William) Dvorak of Canonsburg; his son, William (Lori) Herriott, II, of Washington; three brothers, David “Bud” (Sally) Herriott, of Hickory, Jim Herriott, of McMurray, John “Jack” (Ruth) Herriott, of South View; two sisters, Mary Jane Rosenwald of Canonsburg, Bonnie Moses of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Sara Herriott, Lexi Herriott, and Jade Dvorak; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step father, Charlie Mounts; his son, Michael, who died in infancy; and his brother, Ron Herriott.
Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021, in the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, in the funeral home.
