Abram S. Franks Sr.
Abram S. Franks Sr., 74, of Denbo, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022.
He was born August 2, 1947, in Brownsville, to the late Harry and Edna Wilson Franks.
Abram was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Marie A. Good Franks; two children, Abram S. Franks Jr. and wife Doreen of Finleyville, Melissa Orlandi and husband Gene of Low Hill; five grandchildren, Kayla and Julia Franks, Karly, Mya and Geno Orlandi; brother, William Franks Sr.
Abram was predeceased by brothers, Harry (Sonny) Franks Jr. and Robert Franks.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 7, with the Rev. Frank Philpott officiating. Interment in Taylor Cemetery with full military rites accorded by American Legion Post 275, 940 and 838.
