Eric Gerard Valentine Sr.
Eric Gerard “Bumpy” Valentine Sr., 60, of Supply, N.C., died Saturday, April 2, 2022, in Novant Brunswick Medical Center.
Eric was born February 8, 1962, a son of the late Frank Mark Valentine and Gloria Marion Valentine.
He was a hard-working diesel mechanic for many years.
He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Oftentimes, he would schedule family events around the game time. He was the silent, strong type who would help anyone who needed it. His love for animals was unconditional.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric Valentine Jr.
Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Jody Valentine of Supply; stepmother, Charlotte Valentine of Pennsylvania; daughters, Vanessa Valentine of Supply and Marissa Powers of Supply; nine grandchildren, Alex Smith, Ethan Shepard, Chase Smith, Chaden Smith, Ari Valentine, Kendall Powers, Eric Valentine, Travis Valentine and Tobias Bellamy; brother, Brett Valentine and wife Hope of Pennsylvania; and sister, Bonnie Valentine of Pennsylvania.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Thursday, April 7, in the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
