John M. McMurray
John M. McMurray, 87, of McMurray, died Sunday, April 3, 2022, in McMurray Hills Manor.
He was born January 19, 1935, in McMurray, to the late William and Bertha Mercer McMurray.
John was Presbyterian by faith, but attended St. Benedict the Abbot Roman Catholic Church with his wife. He served his country as a member of The United States Marine Corps.
John was retired from Mayview Hospital, where he worked as a grounds keeper.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Raymond Marmie of Monessen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Marmie McMurray.
Friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m., the time of services, Thursday, April 7, in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating. Interment will be in Brush Run Cemetery, Venetia.
