Lillian Mary Mokry Weimer
Lillian Mary Mokry Weimer, 91, of Washington, died Thursday, April 7, 2022, in Washington Hospital.
She was born on June 10, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Ignatz and Mary Mokry.
Lillian was a graduate of Arenas Eastern, in Turner, Michigan. She then graduated from St. Anthony De Paul Nursing School, as an RN, in 1949, where she met and married Dr. Joseph Weimer.
They moved to Pittsburgh, then Waycross Farm, in Washington, where they resided for 51 years.
In addition to being a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Lillian bred and raised thoroughbred race horses. Many of which did well at the racetracks. She loved all animals and had a heart of gold.
Surviving is her beloved daughter and caregiver for the last 2 years, Karen Weimer (Louis Lalama) of Coraopolis; daughter-in-law, Barbara Weimer; and two grandchildren, Geoffrey and Lauren of Harrisburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment will be private.
