Rudy Kurilko Jr.
Rudy “Buggo” Kurilko Jr., 84, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, in his home, with his family by his side. He was born Tuesday, March 18, 1938, in Bobtown, a son of Rudy Kurilko Sr. and Pearl Pekar Kurilko.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Baliker Kurilko; his son, Steven J. Kurilko; his brother, Andrew “Coke” Kurilko and sister-in-law, Welda Kurilko.
Buggo was Catholic by faith, and a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1958 to 1962 as an airplane mechanic.
He had been employed at the Chrysler Plant in Twinsburg, Ohio, for 32 years and after raising his family in Macedonia, Ohio, he retired at the age of 53 and moved back to Bobtown. He was also a lifetime member of the Bobtown Polish American Citizens Club, the Bobtown Rod & Gun Club, and the Point Marion Fraternal Order of Eagles Club.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristine Kurilko DiFante of Bobtown; two grandchildren, Ashley Difante, Alex Rossell; brother, John “Jack” Kurilko and wife Marge; sister-in-law, Ethel Kay Baliker Poprik; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 22, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. hour of service Saturday, April 23, with the Rev. Fr. Francis Frazer officiating, in the Louis E. Rudolph Funeral Home, Thomas B. Rudolph, funeral director and supervisor, 15 N. Main Street, Point Marion. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion. Military rites will be accorded at graveside by the Point Marion Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts.
