Betty L. Murray, 95, of Wildwood, Fla., died Friday, November 25, 2022. She was born February 16, 1927, in Grafton, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lelia I. Yeager and Earsel R. McGowan. She moved to Florida in 1992.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wildwood.

Betty owned and operated a beauty shop for several years.

She was a member of Easter Star, and taught Sunday school at Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church in Eighty Four. She enjoyed sewing, collecting antiques and square dancing.

In 1949, she married Jack C. Murray, who preceded her in death in 2011.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by four brothers; and 1 sister.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a date to be announced.
