Howard Martin Knestrick Jr.
Howard Martin Knestrick Jr., 66, of Washington, passed away in his home Friday, January 28, 2022. He was born October 28, 1955, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Howard (Norma) Knestrick Sr. and Kathleen Frances Grosley Knestrick.
Howard was a resident of Washington since 1994. He proudly served as a radio operator in the United States Marine Corps. Howard could be seen walking around Washington and spending time at Citizens Bank and the Main Street Market. He was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Parish and the American Legion Post 175.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his aunt, Kathy Knestrick; sister, Barbara (Steve) Fair; nieces, Ashley (September) Knestrick, Nicole (Chris) Phillips and Lacey Knestrick; nephews, Shawn and Matthew Randolph, Richard and David Klawuhn, and Jonathan (Harley) Vitka; great-nephews, Devon Knestrick, Steven Joseph, Jonathan Vitka Jr. and Leviathyn Almeida; great-niece, Charlee Almeida; and his brothers partner, Maggie Rhoads.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are brothers, Michael Knestrick and John “Jake” Knestrick; and aunts, Jaunita (George) Nixon and Sharon Colleen Richmond Knestrick.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 7, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD, owner / supervisor, Erin E. Jones, LFD, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
Interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil, with full military rites by the American Legion Post 175 of Washington and the United States Marine Corps. Everyone please meet at the cemetery.
