Mary Joan Liotus
Mary Joan Liotus, 85, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, February 6, 2022.
She was born August 25, 1936, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of John Panella and Jean Caruso Lynn.
She attended Library Baptist Church. Mary was a former member of St. Patrick Church, where she was active with the Christian Mother’s and Guild, she was a volunteer at the Canon House. She was also a member of the Italian American Association, and the Canonsburg Senior Citizens Center.
Mary was a homemaker and later worked as a clerk at Ames Department Store.
Surviving are her sons, William Liotus, of Finleyville, Peter Liotus, of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters, Linda (John Dillon) Liotus, of Bethel Park, Susan (Michael) Kozar, of West Mifflin, and Diane Liotus of Hanover; five grandchildren, Amber (Pierre) Orozco and her mother, Kimberly Campbell, Jonathan Berry, Timothy (Melanie) Berry, Erica (Marc) Watson, and Jason (Mandee) Kozar; 10 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Teegan, Kaden, Colton, Kylee, Brayden, Britton, Noah, Owen, and Ellee; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Liotus; and her granddaughter-in-law, Lennie Berry.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, in the funeral home, followed by interment, in the Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
