Joseph J. Veranese
Joseph J. Veranese, 90, formerly from Peters Township, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, after a short illness.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Laura Miller Veranese; and daughter, Leslie Gardner (Tim); and parents, Frank and Priscilla Veranese; brother, Frank “Buddy” Veranese; and sisters, Marie Wilkins and Pricilla Nordquist.
He is survived by daughters, Connie (David) Kennedy, Lisa Reeder; sons, Ernest (Renee) Veranese and Joseph (Frankie) Veranese; along with grandchildren, Nathan Kennedy (Sophia), Heather (Kennedy) Kmetz (Mark), Timothy Reeder, Terry Reeder, Catherine Veranese, Elizabeth Veranese, Bobbi Jo Gardner and Lauren (Gardner) Smith (Will), Dakota Korinko; and great-grandchildren, Emma Kmetz, Lydia Kmetz, Liam Kennedy, Killian Kennedy and Billy Smith.
Joseph retired from GE Glass Works in Bridgeville. He was involved for many years with the Peters Township Marching Band Boosters, Peters Township Volunteer Fire Department, the Tall Cedars, and Chartiers Valley Masonic Lodge.
Joseph enjoyed spending time being surrounded by his family, traveling to Florida, boating and camping with the guys.
Arrangements by BEINHAUER. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2022, at the Beinhauer Family Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray PA.
A Blessing Service will be held at 7 p.m. Private interment at Forest Lawn Gardens.
