Mildred Anne Hartsock

Mildred Anne Hartsock, 75 of Vestaburg, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in her home.

She was born January 13, 1947, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Clifford and Mildred Shank Lewis.

Mrs. Hartsock was a 1965 graduate of South High School in Pittsburgh.

Mildred was employed by the Pennsylvania State Liquor Control Board as a store manager at various locations including Fredericktown for many years from where she retired.

She was a member of the Swinging Needles Sewing Club.

As a seamstress, Mildred created award winning dance competition and Halloween costumes. She was also very skilled at quilting, crocheting and crafts. She loved spending time with her grandchildren teaching them her crafting skills.

Surviving are three children, Michelle Labash (fiance Jose Reyes) of Ross Township, William L. Chamberlain (Rachel) of Harrisville, and Kathleen Roman (Matthew) of Summerhill; eight grandchildren, Dr. Cyndil Goulding, Chanelle Labash-Lash, Dr. Monte T. Labash III, 2nd Lt. Christian G. Labash, Andrew Hufnagel, William L. Chamberlain, Larissa Ohler and Lydia Roman; two great-grandchildren, Everett Boone “Boy1” Goulding and Jameson Beau “Boy2” Goulding; two sisters, Carol Krynock (Joseph) and Kathleen Jones, both of Pittsburgh; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband, Arthur Hartsock; sister, Darlene Lewis; grandson, Joshua Roman; brother-in-law, Thomas Jones.

Friends will be received from 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St., Beallsville, PA where funeral services will be held Monday, February 14, at 1 p.m..
