Wilma June Davis
Wilma June Davis, 87, of McDonald, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, Friday, January 28, 2022.
She was born March 29, 1934, in McDonald, a daughter of the late James R. Crowe Sr., and Jennie Behling Crowe. Wilma was a 1952 graduate of McDonald High School.
Wilma was the beloved wife of the late Jesse “J.T.” Davis Jr.; loving mother of Renee L. (Lenny) Minski; the adoring grandmother of Jared Minski and Matthew Minski, all of Manalapan, N.J.; and the dear sister of James Crowe Jr. and Sandra (Ronnie) Kress, both of Oakdale, and the late Dolores Eckles.
Wilma was a longtime member of Venice Presbyterian Church, where she served as deacon over the years.
Wilma worked as a keypunch operator for JC Penney for over 40 years until her retirement in 1992. Since her retirement, Wilma enjoyed traveling with family and friends, and spending time with her loved ones.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 19, in Venice Presbyterian Church, immediately followed by a luncheon in the fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Venice Presbyterian Church.
