Erin Maureen Sabo
Erin Maureen Sabo, M.D., 58, of Bulger passed away peacefully in her home, in her sleep, Saturday, February 12, 2022.
She was born December 31, 1963, a daughter of John and Gerry Pirih Sabo of Bulger.
Erin was a 1982 graduate of Burgettstown High School. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, prior to obtaining her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. Upon completion of her Psychiatric residency, she went on to work with Dr. Neil Capretto at Gateway Rehab Center.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Dane Sabo, an engineering student at Pitt, whom she was extremely proud of; brothers, Dan Sabo and wife Janet of Burgettstown, and Sean Sabo and wife Carrie of Schnecksville; nephews, Jonathan Sabo (Ngoc Truong), Jared Sabo (Sadie Dayton), Dillon Sabo and Brian Sabo.
Friends and family are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, in St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 967 Grant Street, Bulger, PA 15019, with the Rev. Zachary Galiyas as celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
