Wanda Bainer

Wanda Bainer, 92, passed away in Concordia Hospice of Washington Donnell House. She was born to Peter Vicktorick and Frances Shinskey on September 16, 1929.

Wanda attended Trinity High School and was a factory and cleaning service employee.

She married Abraham Lincoln Dillie July 14, 1948, and divorced December 27, 1951. Wanda married Wayne Bainer February 3, 1961 who preceded her in death September 15, 2002.

Wanda lived in Washington most of her life, most recently at Thomas Campbell Apartments and Evergreen Personal Care Home.

Surviving are a son, Paul Stanley Dillie (Barbara) of Ohio; granddaughter, April Adkins (Sam); and three stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren of North Carolina. Surviving siblings include Theresa Mancuso and Greg Vicktorick (Laura); and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., the time of a blessing service, Thursday, February 17, in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home, 1290 Jefferson Avenue, Washington. Interment will be held in Forest Lawn Gardens at a later date.
