April Joy Ruse
April Joy Ruse, daughter of Juanita Alta and Robert “Bob” George Ruse of Strabane, passed Tuesday, February 15, 2022. She was born April 6, 1959, one of 12 children.
April graduated from Canon-McMillan High School. She was not married and did not have children.
She was preceded in dead by her parents, Juanita and Bob; brothers, William Ray Joseph Ruse of Nanticoke, and David Douglas Ruse of Seattle, Wash.
Surviving siblings include Robert “Bob” Lee Ruse, Mary Lee Ruse Wagner Neill, Juanita Ann Ruse Neill, Larry Thomas Ruse, Michael Anthony Ruse, Icie Margaret Ruse Evans, Linda Darlene Ruse Barnes Durkacs, Millie Rose Ruse Gray and Glenn Richard Ruse. She enjoyed all her nieces and nephews along with great-nieces and nephews, especially face time since she lived so far away.
April lived the last 20 years in Nanticoke and The Manor at Penn Village Selinsgrove to be near her sister-in-law, Susan Dorris Ruse.
April will be laid to rest with her parents at Forest Lawn Chapel Mausoleum, McMurray.
