Gladys Ralston
Gladys Ralston, 98, of Washington, died February 22, 2022, in Woodside Place of Washington.
She was born April 18, 1923, in Washington, the daughter of the late John and Madelyn Glaum Jackson.
Gladys graduated from Washington High School and attended Penn Commercial. She worked as a secretary for the Washington Observer-Reporter.
She loved flower gardening, cooking, reading, and taking care of her family. She was a good seamstress.
On September 24, 1941, Gladys married Bob Ralston, who survives.
Also surviving are sons, Jack Ralston, and Alan Ralston; sisters, Jean Carol, and Mildred Brownlee; grandchildren, Christopher, Rebekah, and Josh; great-grandchildren, August, Ada, Lylah, and Emma; and many nieces and nephews.
Gladys was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and John Jackson; sister, Vera Keenan; and grandsons, Michael, and Shaun Ralston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 246 Sanitarium Road East, Washington, PA 15301, where Gladys attended church.
Family and friends will be received 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the time of service Saturday, February 26, 2022, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
Burial will be private.
