Marcel F. Rocher
Marcel F. “Mark” Rocher, 94, of McDonald, Cecil Township, passed Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
He was born November 21, 1927, in Midway, a son of Marcelin and Camilla Samuel Rocher.
Mr. Rocher was a graduate of Midway High School and then served in the United States Army.
Marcel was an owner operator truck driver, driving coal from local mines to power plants.
On September 4, 1948, he married Roberta Jean Glass, who passed May 8, 2006.
Mr. Rocher enjoyed traveling to Florida, Texas and Oregon in his motorhome. He also belonged to several camping clubs and enjoyed meeting fellow campers.
Surviving are three sons, David (Donna Dumont) Rocher of McDonald, Donald (Gaylan) Rocher of Texas, and Thomas Rocher of Oregon; and one grandson.
Deceased is a sister, Rosemarie Rocher.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 28, in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald PA 15057, where services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1.
