David Allen Nicely
David Allen Nicely, 60, of Washington, lost his fight against heart failure Thursday, December 30, 2021, in Washington Hospital.
He was born on July 15, 1961, and was raised in Latrobe, Westmoreland County, as the youngest of the late Mary Pearl Kuhns Nicely and the late Holmes Edward Nicely.
David worked several jobs during his lifetime, but was a laborer by trade.
David loved animals and was an avid sports fan, especially of our Pittsburgh sports teams.
His passions included collecting coins, die cast cars and baseball cards.
David was a man of few words, a kind and gentle soul, but very witty and strong-willed. He always remained positive, even during the many adversities he faced throughout his life.
Although his earthly heart was unable to sustain his body any longer, his eternal heart is filled with gratitude and love for all of his medical professionals and caregivers, as well as his closest friends that have given him their unconditional support during his illness.
There will be no services for David, but those wishing to honor his memory may do a random act of kindness for someone, it just may be life changing.
