Sidney Paul Blasiole
Sidney Paul Blasiole, 72, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 7, 2022.
Born on August 3, 1949, in Washington, he was the only son of the late Ralph S. Blasiole, MD., and Lucile Emma Crumrine.
Sidney is survived by his sister, Sylvia Rae Bagby (Dick), of Virginia Beach, Va.
Uncle Sidney is also survived by his nieces, Dana Buchanan (Andrew), and Tara Shepley (Joe); and great-nieces and nephews, Rachael, Luke, Andrew, Joe, David and Sarah.
Beloved Sidney graduated from Trinity High School, Class of 1967.
His active civic volunteer career included the American Cancer Society and Muscular Dystrophy Association. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners and Elks Lodge.
In later years, he volunteered at Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care, was an active volunteer and member at First Presbyterian Church and was always willing to lend a hand to his neighbors at Redstone Court.
He was man who enjoyed celebrating family birthdays and holidays, and his favorite restaurant was Angelo’s, where he celebrated his 72nd birthday.
A memorial service will be held at the Hillsview Chapel, at the Washington Campus of Presbyterian Senior Care, at 11 a.m. on February 5, 2022. Interment will be held at a later date convenient for the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation, 1215 Hulton Road, Oakmont, PA 15139.
