Phyllis A. Bradmon
Phyllis A. Bradmon, 79, of Rices Landing, passed away at 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born July 29, 1942 in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late Richard J. and Blanche V. Baker Doherty.
Mrs. Bradmon relocated to Rices Landing in 2005. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Carmichaels where she served as an usher. Mrs. Bradmon worked as a bookkeeper at Solomon Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Carmichaels for 12 years. She was the caregiver to her parents and enjoyed cooking for her family and others. On May 23, 1970, she married Jess Burton “Jay” Bradmon, who died October 16, 2016.
Surviving are a son, Guy Howard Bradmon (Heather) of Gladwin, Mich.; a daughter, Judith Roney (Michael) of Mich.; five grandchildren, Jess Bradmon (Kim), Shelby Bradmon, Dominic Bernabei (Stacey), Laura Grabow (Don), and Jenna Combs (Jordan); nine great- grandchildren; a brother, Richard “Dick” Doherty of Rices Landing; and several nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, 724-966-5500, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, PA, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022. The Rev. Reagan L. Fike will officiate. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church, P.O. Box 193, Carmichaels, PA 15320. The family is requesting that face coverings be worn while inside the funeral home.
