Sean Mathew Porbin
Dr. Sean Mathew Porbin, 56, of Avella, died Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Washington Hospital.
He was born August 26, 1965, in Willingboro, N.J., a son of the late Saul and Ronni Goldberg Porbin.
Dr. Porbin was a hospice & palliative medicine specialist and family medicine doctor in Avella. He had over 28 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1994. Dr. Porbin was Board Certified in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine as well as Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Owen Porbin.
He is survived by his wife, Charity Burke Porbin; children, Summer (Shawn) Leoni, Elijah and Zoe Porbin; granddaughter, Charlotte Leoni; sisters, Marci (Mark) Semel and Danielle (Robert) Steighner; loving in-laws, Bill and Mary Burke; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and interment in West Point Cemetery, Avella, will be held at the convenience of the family.
