Howard Nizinski, of Pittsburgh, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021, in Ashbury Heights Residence, Pittsburgh.

He was born March 20, 1929, in Rockingham, a son of the late Harry and Anna Bendas Nizinski.

Howard lived 92 good years in the best of times, and was hopeful that he conveyed to those lives he touched the deep love he had for his country, the USA, and the freedom given to all by our founding fathers. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Nizinski earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the California State Teachers College and a Master’s of Science degree in Geography from the University of Pittsburgh.

Howard was a teacher, businessman and sportsman.

Surviving are a brother, William Nizinski of Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

At the request of the deceased, funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of Greenlee’s Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville.
