Melanie Bundash Paterini, 60, of Bentleyville, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 10, 2022, in her home.

She was born August 12, 1961, in Washington, a daughter of the late George and Marion Littlewood Bundash.

Melanie was a graduate of the Charleroi High School and attended the Douglas Business School.

She worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Washington D.C. as an auditor, and later returned home to work various jobs.

Her favorite role, and what she was best at, was being a wife, mother and grandmother.

Melanie enjoyed vacationing with her family at the beach, loved her dog, Louie and enjoyed baking and reading.

Surviving are her husband, Richard Paterini; children, Nacy Haynes (Bo) of Scenery Hill, Ricky Paterini (Anna Lemley) of Pittsburgh and Jonathon Paterini (Tori Cicci) of Ellsworth; grandchildren, Victoria, Gabrielle and Gavin Haynes; sister, Chris Segelken (Harry) of Grand Junction, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a brother, Pat Bundash.

A private service will be held at the family’s convenience.
