Phillip Joseph LiPari
Phillip Joseph “Philo” LiPari, 77, of Houston, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Canonsburg Hospital. He was born May 29, 1944, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Samuel and Angelina Distefeno LiPari.
Phillip was a musician and composer for BMI and Decca Records, known by the name as Philo Perry. In later years, after retiring, he worked as a property owner and landlord.
Philly, as known by most of his friends, enjoyed playing guitar, singing and writing music. He also enjoyed cars and riding motorcycles. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his son Victor LiPari of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters, Lisa (Dennis) Cooper of Burgettstown and Janet (Dan) Castellino of Burgettstown; stepsons, Michael Rozanc of Houston and Jimmy Mahich of Canonsburg; and stepdaughter, Melissa Rozanc of Houston.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his daughter, Tina; brothers, Victor Frank LiPari and Samuel LiPari; and sister, Angie Clark.
