Helen Louise Coppola
Helen Louise Coppola, 92 of Cecil, died Friday, January 14.
She was born January 27, 1929 in Cecil, a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Ann Grochowski Kolljeski.
She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, St. Mary Church, Cecil. Helen enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are sons, Peter (Denise) Coppola and Joseph Coppola, both of Cecil; grandchildren, Christen (Jamie) Malone of Beachview, Jessie McKelvey of Belview, Justin Coppola of Washington; great-grandchildren, Madison Malone, Kendall McKelvey, Greyson McKelvey and Amillia Copolla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Coppola; brothers, Anthony, John, George and Mike Kolljeski; sisters, Frances Zupancic, Mary Michael, Stella Bercelli and Vicky Zeman.
To honor Helen’s request, there will be no visitation.
A Christian Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 18 at Corpus Christi Parish, St. Mary’s Church, Cecil, with Father Dennis Yurochko officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at church at 9:30 a.m.
Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cecil.
