Jeffrey Reed Hackney
Jeffrey Reed Hackney, 61, of Washington, died Sunday, May 29, 2022, in the Washington Hospital.
He was born December 27, 1960, in Washington, a son of the late Kenneth Hackney and Betty Bunner Hackney.
Mr. Hackney attended Trinity High School and worked as a driver for First Transit.
He loved his dogs, Petey and Bailey, and enjoyed tinkering on cars.
Surviving are a brother, Greg (Jodi) Hackney of Washington; a sister, Diane Chenney of Washington; aunts, Helen Hackney and Jeannie Kuhn; niece, Kayla Hackney; nephews, Dustin (Katherine) and Matthew (Amanda) Chenney; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several cousins.
At the request of the deceased, all services were private.
Arrangements were entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
