Michelle R. Friday
Michelle R. Friday, 51 of Greensboro, died Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in Mon General Medical Center, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born November 23, 1970 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late James H. and Lyvonne Ball Tharp.
Michelle was a school bus driver for Zalar Busing, Waynesburg.
She was a member of the Waynesburg Moose Lodge #461, an auxiliary member of the Greensboro VFW Post #6303 and the Carmichaels American Legion Post #400.
On July 31, 2012 she married Kevin J. Friday, who survives.
Also surviving are seven children, David (Kimberly) Shaffer II of Jefferson, Brent (Kimberly) Shaffer of Hollsopple, Kristen (Eric) Tenney of Greensboro, Megan Shaffer of Greensboro, Andrew Friday of Bethel Park, John Friday of Bobtown, and Jessica Huffine of Greensboro; six grandchildren, Sophia Friday, Kinslei Tenney, Mason Stull, Audrey Friday, Preston Wells, and Jaxon Shaffer; two sisters, Tracy (Greg) Sova of Masontown, W.Va., Heidi (Eric) Sweeney of Jefferson; two brothers, James “Jet” Tharp of Jefferson, and Todd Tharp of Jefferson.
Friends will be received 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 4, in Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor.
