William A. Bodnar
William “Billy” A. Bodnar, 63 of Daisytown, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 2, 2022 in the Washington Hospital.
He was born December 11, 1958 in Charleroi, a son of Joanne M. Bodnar of Daisytown and the late William A. Bodnar.
Bill was a graduate of California High School in 1977 and began working as a miner for the former Vesta 5 coal mine. Bill also played football with the Wolfpack. He enjoyed carrying on the Hungarian tradition of growing garlic in the garden and also loved to play southern rock on his guitar.
In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by his brother, Kevin Bodnar of Brownsville; and his sister, Stephanie Most of Charleroi.
