Richard Dennis Kopko
Richard Dennis Kopko, 86, of Washington, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Born on August 1, 1935, he was the son of the late Wayne and Bertha Ward.
Beloved husband to the late Annelle Higginbotham Kopko. Loving father of Toyia Taylor and Tascha Kopko. Cherished grandfather of Jena (Ed), Joshua (Samantha), Justin (Kodi), Julia (BJ), Morgan Miller (Travis), Derek Ewing, and Mackenzi Kopko. Dear great-grandfather of Dalton, Dawson, Gracie, Bentley, Easton, Riley, Paisley, Attlee, Gage and Briley. Loving brother of Darrell Ward and Donna Ward Davis.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tierne Kopko Ewing. Richard will also be dearly missed his loving dog, Mr. Grey.
Richard enjoyed painting, camping, fishing, hunting, and taking photos of his grandchildren playing sports. He most importantly enjoyed being his wife’s caretaker for the last five years.
