Perlina Elizabeth Adams Trainer
Perlina Elizabeth “Mitzie” Adams Trainer, 72, of Pittsburgh, formerly Washington, died Thursday, June 9, 2022, in Pennknoll Village, Everett.
She was born June 20, 1949, in Danville, Va., a daughter of Willie and Olla Alease Keen Adams.
Ms. Trainer was a 1967 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.
Mitzie did data entry for McGraw-Edison in Canonsburg for 17 years and Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh for eight years.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Washington where she sang the choir.
She enjoyed singing, dancing, playing cards, and cooking.
Surviving are two sons, Andre Trainer (Jen) of Altoona and Nigel Trainer (Elisha) of Monroeville; six grandchildren, Alicia Johnson and Layna, Kai, Jazlene, Xavier and Amauri Trainer; two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Thomas Johnson; a sister, Alice M. “Patsy” Adams Royal of Washington; two brothers, Andre “Pete” Adams (Cindy) of Hope Mills, N.C., and Joseph Adams (Maryjane) of Phoenix, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.
A sister, Katherine Diane Newsome, and a brother, Willie “Big Bill” Adams Jr., are deceased.
