Dorothy Bruno

Dorothy Bruno, 90, of Burgettstown, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 8, 2022 in her home, with her loving family at her side.

She was born on September 25, 1931 in Chartiers Township, a daughter of the late Ruth Woods McNair and Donald Clark.

A 1950 graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, she was employed at Tygart Valley Glass, and later in life worked at Western Center, until she retired in 1991.

Mrs. Bruno was a faithful member of the Burgettstown Presbyterian Church, always arriving early to help hand out the service bulletins before each service.

She enjoyed traveling, reading, crocheting, crafts, dining out with friends and family, and watching the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Her husband, Primo C. Bruno, whom she married in 1951, preceded her in death in 1984.

She is survived by her two daughters, Maryanne Dickey, and husband James, of Mims, Fla. and Kimberly Barth, and husband Tom, of Greensburg; her granddaughter, Charmaine Leiter, and husband Richard, of Lewisberry; three great-grandsons, Erik, Joel and Joseph; and her great-great-grandson, Kayden.

Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of services, officiated by Rev. Cinda Isler, at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. Interment will follow in the Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Hickory.
