Loretta Joan Sallar, 83, of Washington, died Sunday, June 12, 2022, in the Washington Hospital.

She was born September 5, 1938, in Washington County, a daughter of John and Annette Vivashik Kokoska.

Loretta worked in home health care as a caregiver.

She enjoyed watching game shows, especially Family Feud, working word search puzzles, gardening, and going out to dinner at Eat’n Park. She loved her cat “Sissy”

Loretta is survived by a son, Louis Sallar, Jr.; daughters, Patricia Phillips, Carol (David) Beuten and Lisa Johns; brother, Richard (Sharyl) Kokoska; sisters, Barbara Swanson and Donna Cenkner; grandchildren, Tina, Jason, Jonathan, Brandon, Paige and Leonard; great-grandchildren, Chandler and Alexis; several nieces and nephews; and best friends, Jim Broderick and Judy Cage.

Deceased are brothers, Louis, Carl and Floyd Kokoska.

Friends and family will gather from 1 to 2 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, June 16, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with David Deagel officiating.
