Carol Ann Bowser, 77, of Rices Landing, died Sunday, June 19, 2022, in Washington Hospital.

Carol was born June 15, 1945, a daughter of the late John Dugan and Mary O. Dugan.

She is survived by her spouse, Herman C. Bowser; children, Tammy Sue Watson (William), of Waynesburg, Herman Scott Bowser (Jennifer Rodriguez), of Hartselle, Ala., Brian Bowser (Lori), of Amity, Todd Bowser (Carrie East), of Washington, Justine Tift (Wes), of Rices Landing; grandchildren, Kristy Borovichka (Nathan), Travis Watson (Nicole), Alex, Sarah, Olivia, Matthew, Kaylee, and Kyrstin Bowser, Lesley and Justin Tift; great-grandchildren, Paige and Claire Borovichka, Georgia Grace Tift, Wren and Emmett Watson; and her beloved rescue dog, Clancy.

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by a sister, Donna Vavrek; and three brothers, James, Robert and Harry Dugan.

She worked as a retail store clerk and was last employed by Knights Market. She was a caregiver for children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, bird watching, and scratch off tickets.

Family and friends will be welcomed from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday June 22, 2022, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022, in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home, INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels PA 15320. 724-966-5100.

Jeff Hathaway will provide the service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, following the viewing.

Burial will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery in Carmichaels.

A dinner will be held at the American Legion Post #400, in Carmichaels, following the burial.
