Benjamin M. Sheets
Benjamin M. Sheets, 84, of San Marcos, Calif., formerly of Beallsville, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
Ben was born February 5, 1938, in Beallsville, a son of the late Rena Helmick Sheets and Alfred Sheets.
He was a graduate of Beallsville High School and California State Teachers College. He taught high school history in Pennsylvania and California before working in property management across the country. He retired from San Diego County after several years as a social worker.
Deceased, along with his parents, are sister, Jessie Hughes; and brothers, Wilbur, Jack, William (Buck), Luther and Robert (Bob).
He is survived by his partner of 50 years, N. George Giles; a brother, Bruce (Nadine) of Cocoa, Fla.; a sister, Dawn Pickens (Charles) of Washington; several cousins, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private.
