Louis James Kloska
Louis James Kloska, 78, formerly of Canonsburg, died Thursday, June 23 in Washington Hospital, with the love of his life, Connie, by his side.
He was born October 26, 1943 in Canonsburg, a son of the late Martin and Helen Dybell Kloska.
Louis was a graduate of Canon McMillian 1961. He served in the US Army, working as a Radar Repairman from 1963-1966. He then worked as a laborer for Pennsylvania Transformer, until retiring in 2021.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends, family and fur buddies.
He loved collecting tools, drinking Budweiser, cooking his famous sandwiches, lasagna and kielbasa, his oldies music and polkas, watching the Steelers and old western shows.
Surviving are wife, Connie Kloska of Washington, whom he was happily married to since March 15, 1969; daughter, Leslie Ealy, of Washington; step daughters, Debra (Jack) Redman Tustin and Sherry (Mark) Conte, both of Washington; brother, Martin J. (Paula) Kloska, Jr. of Reno, Nev.; grandchildren, Ethan Ealy, Jessica Tustin and Crystal Valperga; great-grandchildren, Amberlynn and Corey Tustin and Aaliyah, Travon, Christopher and Makayla Valperga. He also leaves behind his longtime friend and Army buddy, Joe Livolsi; and Fur Buddies, Chase, Geno, Cleo and Frankie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Ed Ealy; and grandson, Scott Valperga.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held at Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
