Rosemarie Peresutti Harris

Rosemarie Peresutti Harris, 70, of Georgia, formerly from Southview, passed away on February 26, 2022.

She was born January 12, 1952, at Canonsburg Hospital, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Sophia M. Tutin Peresutti, Sr.

Rosemarie graduated from Fort Cherry High School and worked for Joy Manufacturing Company (Joy Global) and later for Hills Department Store at the Franklin Mall. After moving to Georgia, she began working along-side her husband, at McCarty Corporation for eight years, until they began their own business, Harris Construction.

Rosemarie loved watching college football and always watched the NFL draft. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan.

Surviving is her loving and devoted husband, James Harris; her caretaker through a courageous fight with a long-term illness; a sister, Joyce Peresutti Drugmand; a nephew, Larry Drugmand; a niece, Lauren Peresutti; and a long-time close friend, Diane. She also leaves behind her faithful black labrador, Poly Malu, who never left her side.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank J. Peresutti Jr. and her brother-in-law, Larry R. Drugmand, Sr.

A private ceremony will held at Golden Isles Crematorium and Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Coastal Hospice of Georgia for their care and support of Rosemarie. Memorials may be made to the Washington Area Humane Society at www.washingtonpashelter.org
