Paula Schollaert

Paula Schollaert, 69, of Bridgeville, Cecil Township, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in Washington Hospital.

Paula was born July 7, 1952, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Raymond and Audrey Delaney Schollaert.

Paula worked as a nurse at Mercy Hospital for 27 years. She dedicated herself to taking care of others when they needed it most.

She enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre, at the senior center. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, especially needlework. In her younger years, Paula was a water skier and she also loved boating. All throughout her life, Paula remained an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Paula will be missed by many, especially her four-legged best friend, Sidney.

Surviving are her sisters, Pamela (Ron) White, Patricia (Tom) Arnold, Susan Roach, Mary (Paul) Dykta and Jacquelynne Smith; nieces, Chelsea Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Jessica (Ryan) Dolence, Marissa Dykta, and Emily (Dan) Patrick; nephew, Phillip (Marisa) White; and great-nephews, Vincent and Benjamin.

Friends and family were received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 5, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale (724-693-2800). A blessing service was held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, in the funeral home.

Inurnment will follow at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 7, at Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.
