W. Lawrence Carter Jr.
W. Lawrence Carter, Jr., 96, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
He was born January 12, 1926, in Sycamore, a son of W. Lawrence and Ida Carter.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Washington Rubber Company, and worked as a custodian at PNC Bank in Washington, and later in security at Sarris Candies, Canonsburg. He enjoyed hunting, and fishing.
Surviving are his sons, William Carter, of Canonsburg, Barry (Cheryl) Carter, of Strabane, Richard Wallace, of Pittsburgh; his daughters, Donna and Debra; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Turner Carter; his daughter, Adriane Miller; his brothers, Irv, Homer and Albert Carter; and his sister, Ruth Hill.
