Helen Elizabeth Dorazio
Helen Elizabeth “Miss Penny” Dorazio, 66, of Washington, died Thursday, March 10, 2022, in her home.
She was born September 11, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Matthew and Mamie Pelzer Taylor.
Helen worked in housekeeping for a number of different companies during her working life.
On June 18, 1988, in Madison, Wis., she married the love of her life, John Dorazio, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three sons, Jerome Taylor of Wisconsin, John Dorazio Jr. of Washington and Jaye (Ameka) Dorazio of New Kensington; a brother, Stan Taylor of Cleveland; two sisters, Mary Taylor of Aurora, Colo., and Darleen Tayor of Cleveland; several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extent their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Washington Health Systems and OSPTA for their exceptional care of Helen during her illness.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, March 15, in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington. Interment will be private at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
