Carole Wrubleski Tucci
Carole Wrubleski Tucci, 80, of East Washington, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022.
She was born October 8, 1941, in Washington, the only child of Albert and Stella Helicke Wrubleski.
She was a member of St. James Parish in Washington and attended Mass at St. Hilary Church and Immaculate Conception Church.
Throughout her life, Carole had been a teacher, realtor and interior designer for the Ethan Allen Furniture Store.
She enjoyed floral designing, cooking, and was a member of the Martha Washington Garden Club and always enjoyed participating in the Tinsel and Tidings Garden Club Show. Carole loved building doll houses, working with miniatures, and having people over for dinner. She loved her wonderful family, was a loving grandmother, and overall lived quite a charmed life.
On September 28, 1963, she married her husband, Guy P. Tucci, who passed away May 25, 2019, having celebrated 55 years of marriage. When Guy proposed marriage, he said “I want to take you on an adventure”, and Carole proclaimed, “Oh, what an adventure it was”. Together they traveled the world while Guy served in the United States Air Force. “Every day with Guy was an adventure”.
Surviving are a son, Paul J. Tucci of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Victoria (Colin Van Bortel Buckley) Tucci, Joseph Tucci, Catherine Tucci and Patrick (Faith Machado) Tucci; and a great-granddaughter, Athena Rose Tucci.
Also surviving are an aunt, Jeanie Helicke Henderson and an uncle, Abby Helicke; a nephew, Matthew Tucci; and some cousins, including Dawn Predmore.
All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 18, in Immaculate Conception Church in Washington. Interment will be held later that day, at 1:30 p.m., in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Cecil Township.
