Mark Morgan Rohrer
Mark Morgan Rohrer, 62, of Washington, formerly of Beallsville, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, in Billings, Mont.
Having been ill for the past several years, it was Mark’s desire to take a final trip to Billings, despite knowing that a long distance trip such as this one would be difficult.
With the blessings of his wife and children, the companionship of two of his brothers-in-law and a childhood friend, Mark’s wish for his special trip came true. At the end of his time in Billings, Mark left this special place. His suffering came to an end as he went to meet his family and friends. MARK DID IT HIS WAY. We love you, Mark.
Mark was born November 7, 1959, in Washington, a son of the late Duane and Amy Nyswaner Rohrer.
Mark was a 1977 graduate of Beth-Center High School.
After graduation, he was employed by Fox Grocery Co. until its closing. He went on to work as a private contractor and most recently worked as a maintenance man.
Mark enjoyed spending time with his family. Their family trips to the ocean and spending time at Big Bear Campground were very special to him.
On October 31, 1980, he married Christy Hill Rohrer, who survives. They celebrated 41 years of marriage.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three children, Robin Korber (Dean) of Belle Vernon, Abby Koss (Dave) of Washington and Matthew Rohrer (Shanna) of West Pike Run Township; six grandchildren, Morgan Shultz, Riley Shultz, Lee Koss, Ava Koss, Katy Korber, Billy Korber; one great-grandson, Lamont Korber; siblings, Jim Rohrer (Pam) of Beallsville, John Rohrer (Holly) of Centerville, Douglas Rohrer (Kristy) of Carmichaels, Lois Pitzer (Glen) of Scenery Hill; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Robin Rohrer of West Middletown; brother-in-law, Jack Hill (Renee) of Texas, Mary Hill of Florida and Tom Hill (Jackie) of Beallsville.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Rodney Lee Rohrer.
Friends will be received from 12 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 28, and from 10 a.m. until the 2 p.m. time of service Tuesday, March 29, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, with Pastor Sandy Conti officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 392 Ridgewood Drive, Fredericktown, PA 15333, or a charity of one’s choice.
